Ten questions and answers with Aubs!
1. How did you find your way to Second Life?
My rl partner was surfing a playboy mag and told me about it said it looked fun and we should try it.Well it was way more then i ever imagine! There isn’t anything else like it! i remember running into people who were 4, 5 years old and asked.. “Wow you been here this long what do you do??” then i said.. yeah well im not going to be here that long… 0.o 4 years later and then some ;p
2. What was your first week experience like in Second Life?
Wow, was like a kid in a candy store! My eyes were open to everything and i just remember laughing my ass off, being silly and afraid to log or i might miss something!
3. The funniest thing you did as a noob and got away with it?
I have a guy friend who i met the day i landed in sl. We were lost together so decided to stick together but not as a couple.. so as the weeks past he would tp me to his place, and each time i went to visit him he had a new place and new stuff and wanted to always “try” the couple balls. I thought man i must be doing something wrong if he has all this and i am crashing at a friends place.. Little did i know he was breaking into places and just using other peoples stuff and i was his partner in crime 😉
4. What jobs have you had in Second Life?
I never needed to work in sl but i did dabble in pole dancing (not nude) at a friends Beach club for a few weeks..I made money dancing at clubs in costume contest! Used to be a Reg at Sanctuary Rock! I currently host for Franklee Anatra one of the best guys and singers in sl! I am a Silhouette Dancer at Shadows and enjoy dancing!
5. Have you ever attended any schools in Second Life?
NO!! im a terrible student. I have to SEE to do.
6. What are some of your accomplishments in Second Life?
Well i never set out to do anything in sl but have fun and make friends. I guess i would have to say holding down 3 jobs in sl and committing to each of them whole heartedly to make them a success.
7. How did you come to be a dancer and why?
Well everyone has a little dancer in side of them, but i was asked to do the stage lighting for Shadows Silhouettes. I watched from the back room and OMG i had to do that! And my bestie… Jbird ask me to do it with her and we have a blast!
8. Were there any moments you recall as true breakthroughs in any area of your Second life?
Shoes! omg how i love shoes in sl…hehe. And the ability to meet someone in another time zone, or country that i would NEVER have had the opportunity to do! It blows me away 😉
9. What have you learned over your lifetime in SL that you’d like to share with us?
How hard it can be to say hello to someone one and not have them question you as to why. Sl has its down side were making a new friend or a really great friend can be challenging. Very hard at times to pass through walls. So i like to share and say….dont be afraid to say hello back and give that person a chance to earn your friendship before you shut the door at hello 😉
10. Is there anything I haven’t asked about that you would care to comment on or share?
Well umm im asking these question to myself..hehe so i will say I hope that you will get to know us a little by this web site and hope to see you at our shows…oh and Please say hello!
